Interested in becoming a NASP member?
NASP Membership is available to any home and community-based organizations providing services and supports to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) services in Nebraska.
All NASP members must meet the standards for certification and accreditation to contract with the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
If you or your organization are not I/DD service providers but share a similar mission or would like to develop a mutually beneficial working relationship with our members, consider becoming a Related Industry or Strategic Business Partner.
Our Related Industry Partners are organizations or public entities who share similar missions, visions and goals. This partnership is an opportunity to become more positive agents of change, support community providers across the state of Nebraska, and join the quest to help the people they serve lead more fulfilling lives.
Our Strategic Business Partners are businesses that offer products and services vital to home and community-based Service providers. NASP members look for products and services that build efficiencies, support business operations and enhance service quality. Strategic Business Partners are private entities which do not receive state or federal reimbursement for service delivery. A Strategic Business Partnership with NASP offers exclusive opportunities to connect with and market to NASP members throughout the year.

Communications
NASP ensures timely dissemination of pertinent industry news and events. It upholds a robust network of media and legislative connections to keep members well-informed and knowledgeable. Moreover, these connections offer chances to interact with pivotal decision-makers and industry specialists.
Regulatory & Legislative Information
NASP ensures that members are aware of regulatory changes and happenings prior to their implementation and that members have input on any potential changes; we proactively push for strong policy in Nebraska. Leadership from the Division of Developmental Disabilities attends our monthly member meetings to provide updates and answer questions face to face.
Legislative Advocacy
The NASP serves as a vital conduit for dialogue between service providers and policymakers. State legislators and NASP frequently engage in exchanges to share essential insights and develop solutions for pertinent policies. NASP gathers and synthesizes contributions from service providers to inform discussions with influential decision-makers. This collaborative approach enables a unified and potent advocacy. Members seeking to contribute more actively are encouraged to participate in the Legislative Committee. This group amplifies our advocacy efforts by aligning with organizational lobbyists and leveraging personal stories and enthusiasm to influence legislation related to our industry.
Workforce Development
NASP provides many industry-specific opportunities for professional growth, including online training, onsite education, regional training and conferences. Regardless of distance, all providers have access to cutting-edge learning.
